uh, me l'ero perso. all mod cons senza dubbio è il lavoro più completo, ed è anche quello che preferisco. però mi avete fatto venire voglia di riascoltare sound affects.

adoro questa immagine. è una delle mie favorite in assoluto dei jam, perché fotografa incredibilmente un momento: gli sguardi persi di foxton e buckler cercano weller che ha già deciso di voler chiudere quel capitolo della sua vita. i suoi pensieri sono già altrove, proiettati verso gli style council.

Gruppone, un po' troppo spesso dimenticato. Comunque il picco secondo me è All Mod Cons, seguito a ruota da Sound Affects, Setting Sons e In the city.
L'acquisto in blocco della loro discografia, quando furono ristampati, è stata una bella soddisfazione :-D

Io sono affezionatissimo a Setting Sons acquistato in vinile nel 1980

roba come Saturday's kids o Burning sky o Private Hell ma soprattutto qual gioiello degno di Eleanor rigby che si chiama Smithers Jones amara come poche.
